Why does my phone case smell strange after a few weeks?

If your phone cover develops a strange chemical or musty smell, it is caused by sweat and humidity trapping bacteria in the plastic pores. Cheap silicone and TPU materials are prone to this.

To clean it, remove the case and wash it with warm water and antibacterial dish soap. Let it dry completely in a ventilated room before snapping it back on.
