Almost every case brand claims "Military Grade Drop Protection (MIL-STD-810G)". Let's look at the military grade drop test myth.
The MIL-STD-810G test only requires dropping a device 26 times from 4 feet onto plywood over concrete. Furthermore, cases can be tested with different sample phones, and the same phone doesn't have to survive all drops.
For real protection, look for brands that drop-test the same phone repeatedly onto steel and concrete from real-world heights.
